The
title of this work is taken from T.S. Eliot’s
Little Gidding
(Four
Quartets) and is
dedicated to my late great–uncle, Michael Perl. It was
written for Edwina Kayser (violin) and Deviani Segal
(piano) and first performed on 1 August 1995 at a concert
of the British Music Society in Prahran, Victoria.
