This instrumental quartet was commissioned for the Australian Ballet’s 2019 Bodytorque: atelier season with David McAllister, Artistic Director and choreography by Timothy Coleman. The music accompanies a scene from the 2000 novel, The Dressmaker, by Australian author Rosalie Ham. The first performance was given by musicians of Orchestra Victoria (Joshua de Graff, Stephen Falk, Kylie Davies and Kylie Foster) at Lawler Theatre, Melbourne Theatre Company, Southbank on 17 October 2019.
